Dear Customer, Effective 2 May 2018, Thomson will update the way part numbers are defined for linear motion systems and precision linear actuators. This change is part of preparations for the launch of an exciting upgrade to our RediMount™ system, currently scheduled for 30 June 2018. The new RediMount system will greatly simplify the mounting of motors and reduce motor interface costs for these products. Thomson will continue to accept orders for the old part numbering systems for some time to come but we will need to convert old part numbers before new orders can be entered as of 2 May 2018. You will then begin to see the new, converted part numbers referenced on order acknowledgements and related communications thereafter.
To make it easier for you to re-order these products, linked here is a conversion tool to help identify the corresponding new part numbers in a few, simple steps:
New part numbers can be found for the following product series/models:
- Movopart M50, M55, M75 and M100.
- WM, WV, WH, MLS.
- T60, T90, T130.
We’re very excited about the new value coming to you with this new RediMount system. Orders for linear motion systems including the new RediMount option are expected to be accepted by 2 July 2018. Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming RediMount launch! Sincerely, Robert Caddick Vice President, Global Sales |
